Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Monari Federzoni balsamic vinegar
8 pints of ripe strawberries
2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Bring balsamic vinegar to a slow simmer and continue to cook until it is syrupy, the consistency of honey and approximately 1/6 of the original volume. Allow the balsamic vinegar to cool at room temperature.

Wash and slice the berries. Place strawberries into a bowl with balsamic vinegar and sugar, mix well and marinate for 15 - 20 minutes.

Serve as is or spoon over vanilla ice cream.
